Murray H. Grossman EWING - Murray H. Grossman, 86, died Wednesday in the Greenwood House. Born in New York City, he was a former resident of Glenside, PA. Mr. Grossman was a sales representative for hardware and plumbing supply companies before retiring four years ago. He was a 32nd degree mason, the former commander of the Jewish War Veterans in Philadelphia County and former commander of Jewish War Veterans Post 176. Mr. Grossman served proudly for seven years in the U.S. Army during World War II. He enjoyed socializing with friends, reading, community service and raising plants. He is survived by his wife Jackie Lev Grossman; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Larry and Joanne Grossman of Plymouth Meeting, PA, Rabbi Daniel and Elayne Grossman of Lawrenceville; three sisters, May Fetterman, Marilyn Heckler and Muriel Gorochow; and two grandchildren, Miriam and Sam Grossman. Funeral services are 11:30 a.m. Friday at Goldsteins Rosenberg's Raphael Sacks, 310 Second Street Pike, Southampton, PA. Burial will follow at Har Zion Cemetery, Collingdale, PA. The period of mourning will be observed at the Grossman residence in Lawrenceville. Memorial contributions may be offered to Adath Israel Congregation, Jewish War Veterans Women's Auxiliary or Hadassah. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Orland's Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing Township.

JACKIE LEV 87, of Ewing, NJ, died Monday Dec. 8, 2008. Mrs. Grossman was a former resident of Philadelphia most of her life. She was a supervisor of Baer Research Diagnostic Center at the Philadelphia Geriatric Center before retiring. Mrs. Grossman was a longtime member of the Jewish War Veterans Auxillary, where she held several county and state positions. Daughter of the late Aaron and Frieda Lev, sister of the late Ida Segal and wife of the late Murray H. Grossman. She is survived by two sons and daughters in law Dr. Larry and Joanne Grossman of Plymouth Meeting, PA, Rabbi Daniel and Elayne Grossman of Lawrenceville, NJ, a brother Marvin Lev of Jackson, NJ, two grandchildren Miriam and Sam Grossman. Funeral Services are Thursday 10 A.M. at GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS SUBURBAN NORTH, 310 Second St. Pike, Southampton. The period of mourning will be observed at the residence of Rabbi and Elayne Grossman in Lawrenceville on Thursday and Saturday through Tuesday.
