Larry Maslow, 69 of Union New Jersey passed away peacefully in Overlook Medical Center on June 30, 2022.
He fought a long and courageous battle of Crohns disease for 52 years, liver and prostate Cancers for 11 years and Skin cancer for 5 years. He was an extremely strong man and fought so hard to live as long as he could until finally his heart stopped.
He was a Chemical Salesman for many years and then went into IT several years ago. He was all about his family, his sons and grandchildren always made him light up no matter how he was feeling.
He was active at Temple Sha’arey Shalom in Springfield and served as Brotherhood President for several years.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 46 years Janet {Weller} Maslow, Sons Nathaniel, Benjamin { Zahava}, Stuart { Marla}, and Grandchildren Shoshana, Shlomo Yehuda, Meir Ben Tzion, Azarya and Yosef Baruch. His sister Renee Cabot and brothers Irvin and Jeff Maslow.
He was predeceased by his parents Bernard {Bill } and Miriam Maslow. He will be missed by so many, but his legacy will always live on. Baruch Dayan Haemet, may his memory always be a blessing.

Irvin Frank Maslow, Sr., 74, of Chesterfield, VA passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Bernard and Miriam Sanders Maslow; and was also preceded in death by his daughter, Melanie Maslow; and his brother, Larry Maslow. Mr. Maslow was a member of Reformed Baptist Church in Richmond. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Joan Maslow; a son, Irvin Frank Maslow, Jr.; his step-daughter, Sherry Layman (Kevin); two siblings, Jeffrey Maslow (Flossie) and Renee Cabot (Bruce); his sister-in-law, Janet Maslow; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2024 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Smith Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, North Dinwiddie. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Reformed Baptist Church of Richmond, 14401 Beach Rd., Chesterfield, VA 23838 in memory of Irvin Maslow, Sr.

Goldina Weller Librarian at university and Springfield temples, 82 Mrs. Goldina Weller (nee Rosen), 82, of Springfield died on Wednesday in Overlook Hospital, Summit. The funeral will be held at Temple Shaarey Shalom, 78 S. Springfield Ave., Springfield, on Friday, Aug. 24, at 11 a.m. The interment will be on Monday, Aug. 27, in Cheektowaga, N.Y. Arrangements are by the Menorah Chapels at Millburn, 2950 Vaux Hall Road, Union. Born in Buffalo, N.Y., Mrs. Weller lived there before moving to Springfield 18 years ago. She was a librarian at the State University of New York (S.U.N.Y), Buffalo, N.Y., for 17 years. She then served as secretary at Temple Beth Ahm, then Temple Shaarey Shalom, both in Springfield, before retiring in 2002. Mrs. Weller was a member of the Sisterhood of Temple Shaarey Shalom, as well as a choir member. Predeceased by her husband, Bennie, she is survived by her daughter, Janet Maslow, son-inlaw, Larry Maslow, and grandchildren, Nathaniel, Benjamin and Stuart. Donations in her memory may be made to the Springfield First Aid Squad.
