Paul McCartney received the Library of Congress Gershwin Award for Popular Music at the White House today. During his acceptance speech, he managed to bash former president George W. Bush. "After the last eight years, it's great to have a president who knows what a library is," said Sir Paul. I'm a huge fan of Paul McCartney; I used to have posters of him plastered on my bedroom walls when I was a kid. But his remark was way out of line; you just don't insult a former president when you're being honored at the White House. Not cool, Paul.
